Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of professional pastry experience
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role within a bakery or culinary environment
  • Ability to operate and understand all required kitchen equipment
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local food sanitation regulations
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
  • Capability to maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • Commitment to minimizing waste and theft through effective controls

Job Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire a pastry team in a high-volume, high-quality environment
  • Minimum 5 years pastry experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Able to operate and understand all required kitchen equipment
  • 2-4 years pastry experience in a quality high-volume operation
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Responsible for all pastry and dessert production for the dining rooms and other club functions
  • Awareness of the quality of goods food products offered for the preparation of pastries
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to align pastry offerings with the club's overall food philosophy and member experience
  • Must be capable of operating efficiently in a high-volume operation
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control for the pastry department
  • Approves the requisition of all products and supplies needed for production of pastries
  • Ensures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained in the production area
  • Establishing controls to minimize waste and or theft
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Chef or his her designees
