Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a relevant leadership position
  • Proven leadership in international environments
  • Eligibility for employment in the USA through citizenship or Green Card
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10%
  • Strong working experience with transport, customs, and logistics
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to operate Google Suite and transport management systems
  • Leadership skills to manage teams and complex projects

Job Qualifications

  • Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience in leadership roles within freight forwarding, aerospace, or manufacturing
  • Proven leadership experience in an international environment
  • Strong expertise in transport, customs operations, and global logistics networks
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Transport Management Systems
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Logistics Professional and Certified in Transportation and Logistics
  • Additional language skills such as German, French, or Danish are a plus
  • Experience with data analytics tools and SAP preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead and mentor teams in Dulles, VA, and Miami fostering continuous improvement and team growth
  • Manage global transport and customs service providers at operational, tactical, and strategic levels to ensure high performance
  • Drive customs operations governance and ensure full compliance with regulations
  • Lead continuous improvements and innovation in air, sea, and road freight products and processes
  • Spearhead deployment of global 4PL operating model and new Transport Management System
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external service providers and collaborate with global stakeholders
  • Represent Global Head of Transport & Customs Operations in regional meetings, projects, and initiatives
