Job Requirements
- Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years experience in a relevant leadership position
- Proven leadership in international environments
- Eligibility for employment in the USA through citizenship or Green Card
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10%
- Strong working experience with transport, customs, and logistics
- Fluent in English
- Ability to operate Google Suite and transport management systems
- Leadership skills to manage teams and complex projects
Job Qualifications
- Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum 10 years experience in leadership roles within freight forwarding, aerospace, or manufacturing
- Proven leadership experience in an international environment
- Strong expertise in transport, customs operations, and global logistics networks
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Transport Management Systems
- Preferred certifications include Certified Logistics Professional and Certified in Transportation and Logistics
- Additional language skills such as German, French, or Danish are a plus
- Experience with data analytics tools and SAP preferred
Job Duties
- Lead and mentor teams in Dulles, VA, and Miami fostering continuous improvement and team growth
- Manage global transport and customs service providers at operational, tactical, and strategic levels to ensure high performance
- Drive customs operations governance and ensure full compliance with regulations
- Lead continuous improvements and innovation in air, sea, and road freight products and processes
- Spearhead deployment of global 4PL operating model and new Transport Management System
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external service providers and collaborate with global stakeholders
- Represent Global Head of Transport & Customs Operations in regional meetings, projects, and initiatives
