Job Requirements

  • Customs broker's license required
  • Minimum 10-15 years industry experience in customs brokerage operations and trade compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in meeting budget
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and time management skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong understanding of CHB reporting parameters
  • Ability to engage in direct and in-person employee and client contact
  • Willingness to travel domestically limited travel
  • Proficiency in MS Excel

Job Duties

  • Full ownership over managing regional leadership including performance management hiring and firing decisions coaching etc
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to improve service and increase customer satisfaction with shared accountability
  • Work with CHB RS&C and internal audit to ensure compliance consistent service delivery and process and policy standards
  • Identify customer needs and oversee operations within the CHB context
  • Support growth and new client implementations
  • Manage team performance and quality control
  • Manage projects oversee service reliability and communicate issues to teams
  • Track service metrics
  • Determine ways to be cost effective without sacrificing customer satisfaction
  • Provide leadership and guidance to employees and offer positive feedback to promote learning and continued education
