Job Requirements

  • Three years of work experience in food service industry
  • ServSafe certified within 6 months of start date
  • ability to work nights and weekends, and ability to be flexible in scheduling per operational needs
  • knowledgeable of food safety and allergens protocols
  • ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions
  • ability to handle a variety of kitchen equipment to prepare food
  • ability to work in a high volume, high pressure kitchen
  • ability to teach and maintain safe food handling practices
  • excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Prep, assemble and delegate food preparation tasks
  • assist with the set-up and breakdown of production and service areas
  • understand and use a variety of equipment and service standards as appropriate
  • follow and enforce set food safety protocol
  • ensure cleanliness and quality in all areas of the kitchen
  • follow all food safety and allergen standards
  • provide excellent customer service and assist with customer needs and inquiries
  • lead by example both in general work ethic and positive, productive demeanor
  • display and demonstrate excellent communication skills
