Job Requirements

  • Three years of work experience in food service industry
  • ServSafe certified within 6 months of start date
  • ability to work nights and weekends
  • ability to be flexible in scheduling
  • knowledgeable of food safety and allergen protocols
  • ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions
  • ability to handle a variety of kitchen equipment
  • ability to work in a high volume, high pressure kitchen
  • ability to teach and maintain safe food handling practices
  • excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of work experience in food service industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ServSafe certified within 6 months of start date
  • knowledge of food safety and allergen protocols
  • ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions
  • ability to handle various kitchen equipment
  • excellent customer service skills
  • experience in retail and high-volume dining is preferred
  • one year of work experience as a line cook is preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare, assign and delegate food preparation tasks
  • assist with set-up and breakdown of production and service areas
  • use a variety of kitchen equipment and service standards
  • follow and enforce food safety protocols
  • ensure cleanliness and quality in kitchen areas
  • follow all food safety and allergen standards
  • provide excellent customer service and assist with customer inquiries
