  • Servsafe certified or able to obtain within six months
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • attention to detail
  • one year culinary experience in high volume or institutional food service preferred
  • experience in bakery production or catering preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare, assemble and delegate food preparation tasks
  • assist with the setup and breakdown of production and service areas
  • understand and use a variety of equipment and service standards
  • follow and enforce food safety protocols
  • ensure cleanliness and quality of back-of-house service areas
  • provide excellent customer service and assist with customer inquiries
  • train new staff members and empower others to make decisions
  • make scheduling recommendations and alert management of personnel needs
  • hold staff accountable through progressive coaching
  • follow allergen labeling procedures and participate in food safety response team
