Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience performing a live cooking show in front of guests preferred
- 2 to 4 years supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to perform and entertain in front of guests
- Certification for New York City Food handler's Certification within one month of being hired for NY employees
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to work in a high stress, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends
- Ability to safely handle hot surfaces, liquids, sharp knives and slippery floors
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food in front of guests at hibachi tables
- Ensure company recipes are made to specification
- Maintain proper par levels and rotation of food
- Complete meat yield sheets daily
- Assist with scheduling of other chefs
- Recruit, train and develop new chefs
- Coach performance of new and current chefs
- Meet budgeted food and labor costs
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness
- Attend department head meetings
- Assist hibachi chefs to ensure compliance and accountability of company processes and procedures
