Job Duties
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation and staff supervision
- hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff
- manage inventory and order supplies
- maintain strict adherence to food safety and health regulations
- monitor and control food costs to optimize profitability
- assist in kitchen leadership and operations in the absence of the Head Chef (for the Sous Chef)
- ensure quality taste and presentation of all dishes
- work proficiency in every kitchen station
- lead and motivate kitchen staff to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
