Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of three years experience in a culinary leadership position
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment and inventory management
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work 35 hours per week
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • experience as a head chef or similar culinary leadership role
  • knowledge of nutritional guidelines and food safety standards
  • ability to manage kitchen staff and operations efficiently
  • excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • experience mentoring or training culinary students or interns
  • strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • culinary degree or relevant certification preferred

Job Duties

  • lead and organize kitchen operations
  • prepare and serve meals and snacks based on pre-established menu
  • ensure meals align with nutritional guidelines
  • maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
  • oversee kitchen facilities, equipment, and inventory management
  • mentor and train student interns in culinary arts
  • collaborate with senior management to optimize food service delivery
