Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the united states
- ability to stand for long periods up to 10 hours
- stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week
- ability to administer consistent corrective action for policy violations
- experience in managing food purchasing inventory and cost control
- ability to prepare and manage required paperwork including inventory ordering reports and schedules
- strong organizational skills and ability to maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 3 years in food beverage and service operations leadership experience
- excellent basic math skills
- ability to operate cash registers and point of sale systems
- effective communication skills in the predominant language of the restaurant’s trading area
- knowledge of food safety sanitation and kitchen equipment operation
- capable of training and coaching staff in culinary and safety procedures
Job Duties
- lead all kitchen functions involving food purchasing storage and inventory preparation and adherence to quality methods and safety standards
- train all kitchen staff in cooking preparation presentation portion and cost control and cleanliness
- efficiently staff and schedule kitchen operations to control labor costs
- maintain quality standards of food and beverage products according to recipes portioning cooking and serving standards
- conduct regular tastings to ensure consistency and address issues
- collaborate with Front of House to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
- control food beverage and dry goods cost and usage through proper requisition storage and waste management
