Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary trends
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with ability to inspire and develop staff
- Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage time and prioritize kitchen activities
- Effective communication skills including ability to collaborate across departments
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in English both verbal and written
Job Duties
- Plan and develop innovative and seasonal menus that align with brand vision and customer preferences
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality and efficiency
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen
- Manage inventory including ordering and stocking ingredients while minimizing waste and controlling costs
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to maintain smooth communication and enhance guest experience
- Monitor and evaluate kitchen performance, implementing improvements to optimize workflows and staff effectiveness
