Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary trends
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with ability to inspire and develop staff
  • Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage time and prioritize kitchen activities
  • Effective communication skills including ability to collaborate across departments
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Proficiency in English both verbal and written

Job Duties

  • Plan and develop innovative and seasonal menus that align with brand vision and customer preferences
  • Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen
  • Manage inventory including ordering and stocking ingredients while minimizing waste and controlling costs
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to maintain smooth communication and enhance guest experience
  • Monitor and evaluate kitchen performance, implementing improvements to optimize workflows and staff effectiveness
