Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership including 2+ years as an Executive Chef
  • proven success developing menus and leading kitchen teams
  • strong operational, financial, and organizational skills
  • knowledge of sustainability, nutrition trends, and modern techniques
  • ServSafe Manager certification
  • hands-on experience with health department inspections
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules as needed

Job Duties

  • Create seasonal, modern menus aligned with sustainability and plant-forward principles
  • lead recipe development, tastings, costing, and plating standards
  • oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure excellence in food quality
  • manage food and labor costs, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
  • recruit, train, and mentor a high-performance culinary team
  • collaborate closely with FOH, operations, and leadership teams
  • represent Tapestry as a culinary ambassador during events and client interactions
