Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age
- authorized to work in the United States
- able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours)
- able to work 50 to 55 hours per week
- knowledge of safety and sanitation practices
- basic understanding of inventory and cost control
- ability to manage and schedule staff
- capable of handling cash and reconciling receipts
Job Qualifications
- minimum 3 years of operations and leadership experience in food service
- knowledge of food, beverage and service standards
- excellent basic math skills
- ability to operate cash register and Point of Sale system
- strong communication skills in the predominant language(s) of the restaurant area
- leadership and team management skills
- ability to train and mentor staff
Job Duties
- lead all kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage and inventory
- ensure adherence to Snooze quality, methods and safety and sanitation standards
- train staff in cooking techniques, plate presentation, portion control and cleanliness
- manage kitchen staffing and scheduling to maintain labor costs
- maintain high food quality and presentation standards
- collaborate with Front of House to ensure seamless service and address guest feedback
- control food, beverage and labor costs through effective management
