Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and work 50 to 55 hours a week
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and service industry with at least 3 years experience
- Basic math competency
- Ability to operate cash register and Point of Sale system
- Effective communication skills in the restaurant’s predominant language(s)

- Demonstrated ability to train and lead a kitchen team
- Proven experience in food cost control and labor management
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
Job Duties
- Lead all kitchen functions involving food purchasing, storage, and inventory
- Oversee food preparation ensuring adherence to Snooze quality, safety and sanitation standards
- Train all kitchen staff in cooking methods, plate presentation, portion and cost control, and cleanliness
- Efficiently staff and schedule kitchen personnel to maintain standard labor costs
- Maintain the "WOW" factor of Snooze food while fostering creativity, education, and development
- Manage Heart of House Snoozers to ensure policy compliance and productive time use
- Administer corrective actions for policy violations fairly and consistently
- Maintain quality standards to ensure best product output
- Assist with employment decisions including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining kitchen staff
- Prepare and maintain all kitchen paperwork including inventory, ordering, and scheduling
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in excellent working order with preventive maintenance
- Control food cost and waste by managing product requisition, storage, and recipe adherence
- Control labor cost through effective scheduling based on forecasted sales
- Lead instruction of safety and sanitation procedures for all kitchen staff
- Create a fun, safe, and rewarding work environment
