Job Requirements

  • must be 21 years of age
  • authorized to work in the United States
  • able to stand for up to 10 hours and work 50 to 55 hours per week
  • must demonstrate stamina and endurance for physically demanding work
  • ability to apply company policies and administer corrective actions consistently
  • committed to maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 3 years operations and leadership experience in food service
  • knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards
  • excellent basic math skills and ability to operate cash registers and point of sale systems
  • strong communication skills in the restaurant's primary language
  • experience training and leading kitchen staff
  • ability to manage food cost and inventory control
  • proficiency in safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • lead all kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage, and inventory
  • supervise food preparation and maintain Snooze quality, methods, safety, and sanitation standards
  • train kitchen staff in cooking techniques, portion control, plate presentation, and cleanliness
  • manage kitchen staffing and scheduling to optimize labor costs
  • collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and address guest feedback
  • assist with opening and closing duties of both kitchen and front of house
  • maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality through inspection and preventative maintenance
