Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to work standing for long periods (up to 10 hours) and handle 50 to 55 hours of work per week
  • Knowledge of food, beverage, and service operations
  • Ability to operate cash registers and Point of Sale systems
  • Strong stamina and physical endurance
  • Commitment to following all company policies and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years operations and leadership experience in food and beverage industry
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen equipment usage
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in basic math and Point of Sale systems
  • Effective communication skills in the predominant language(s) of the restaurant's area
  • Ability to foster a positive, creative, and productive kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Lead all kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage, and inventory management
  • Oversee food preparation to maintain Snooze quality and safety standards
  • Train Heart of House Snoozers in cooking methods, plate presentation, portion control, and cleanliness
  • Schedule and staff kitchen operations efficiently while controlling labor costs
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the kitchen
  • Collaborate with management on hiring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Manage paperwork including inventory, ordering, reports, and schedules
