Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 3 years of relevant leadership experience in a food service environment
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Availability to work 50 to 55 hours weekly
  • Proficiency in basic math and POS systems
  • Effective communication skills in the dominant language of the restaurant’s area

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years operations and leadership experience in food and beverage service
  • Knowledge of food preparation methods, kitchen safety, and sanitation
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate cash registers and Point of Sale systems
  • Excellent communication skills including proficiency in the local restaurant trading area language
  • Experience managing kitchen personnel and enforcing company policies
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and manage long work hours
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Lead all kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage, and inventory
  • Ensure adherence to Snooze food quality, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion control, and cleanliness
  • Efficiently schedule and staff the kitchen to maintain labor cost standards
  • Manage personnel including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplinary actions
  • Prepare necessary paperwork including inventory, ordering, reports, and schedules
  • Maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness and ensure preventative maintenance
  • Control food and labor costs through responsible requisition, standard recipes, and scheduling
  • Lead instruction on safety and sanitation procedures
  • Foster a fun, safe, and rewarding work environment for kitchen employees
