Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in fine dining leadership
- Culinary trained
- NYC Food Protection Certificate
- Previous management experience
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
- Strong work ethic and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours daily and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility and open-mindedness to complete diverse tasks
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment under pressure

Job Duties
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen brigade, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep staff
- Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring proper storing procedures, food orders, food cost, equipment, sanitation, allergy management, and hygiene standards
- Ensure daily pars are met with the highest quality
- Conduct regular training, performance evaluations, appraisals, and leadership meetings to build a skilled and cohesive team
- Purchase and produce top-quality food to create seasonal menus, maintain recipes, pictures, and specifications, update signage and displays for dates and food quality
- Educate and train staff on safe work habits and proper standards of practice
- Promote teamwork and collaboration between front and back of house through communication and delegation
- Taste and review products daily for quality and consistency
- Manage inventory ordering systems
- Uphold high health, sanitation, and safety standards in food handling and cleanliness
