Job Requirements

  • culinary arts certification or equivalent professional experience
  • minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within kitchen operations
  • demonstrated ability to manage a diverse kitchen team
  • strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • excellent organizational and budgeting skills
  • ability to work full-time on-site in Ann Arbor MI
  • passion for sustainability and quality

  • proven culinary skills including menu planning recipe development and food preparation expertise
  • leadership qualities including team management staff training and collaboration abilities
  • knowledge of inventory management cost control and budget planning

  • experience working in fast-paced high-volume kitchen environments

Job Duties

  • oversee all kitchen operations including menu creation and meal preparation
  • manage and train kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and quality
  • select and source high-quality ingredients focusing on sustainability
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage budgeting and control food costs
