Job Requirements

  • Experience as a head chef or senior kitchen leader
  • strong knowledge of steakhouse cooking techniques and traditions
  • familiarity with Pacific Northwest ingredient sourcing and seasonality
  • excellent leadership and team communication skills
  • ability to manage kitchen operations including scheduling and inventory
  • culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead from the front

Job Qualifications

  • Strong line cooking skills and expertise in 2nd and 3rd wave steakhouse fundamentals
  • deep understanding of Pacific Northwest ingredients and seasonal cooking
  • creative culinary instincts balanced with approachability
  • proven leadership and people management skills
  • experience in scheduling, training, and kitchen human resources
  • knowledge of operational systems including ordering, preparation, and sanitation
  • ability to work under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen operations and manage daily workflow
  • collaborate with General Manager and Corporate Executive Chef on menu development and kitchen management
  • train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold quality and consistency
  • manage ordering, inventory, and scheduling
  • ensure adherence to sanitation and safety standards
  • maintain smooth execution during busy service hours
  • introduce seasonal and creative menu ideas while respecting steakhouse traditions
