Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to stand for long periods up to 10 hours
- Stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and service industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Competency in operating cash register and Point of Sale systems
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of operations and leadership experience in food and beverage service
- Excellent basic math skills and cash register/POS operation proficiency
- Strong communication skills in predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen management
- Prior experience in training and developing kitchen staff
- Ability to manage food, labor, and cost controls effectively
- Skilled in multitasking and time management in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Lead all kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage, and inventory
- Ensure adherence to Snooze’s food quality, methods, and safety and sanitation standards
- Train kitchen staff in cooking methods, presentation, portion control, and cleanliness
- Efficiently staff and schedule kitchen personnel to maintain labor cost standards
- Collaborate with Front of House to ensure seamless service and address guest feedback
- Manage food and beverage cost controls through responsible requisition, storage, and waste control
- Support General Manager in hiring, training, evaluating, and coaching hourly staff
- Ensure regular maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment
- Prepare and manage required paperwork such as inventory, ordering, reports, and schedules
- Lead safety and sanitation training for all kitchen staff
- Conduct regular tastings to maintain product consistency
- Control cash and receipts following company policies
- Assist with opening and closing duties of Front and Back of House
