Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
- Be dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- Have good communication skills with ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- Ability to lift/carry product up to 30 lbs and move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks
- Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
- Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
- Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
- Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
- Assist in the hiring and training of new Cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
- Thrive in fast-paced environment by efficiently managing cashier team and operational issues
