Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
- be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, scanner
- have good communication skills and ability to participate in a team environment
- ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and maneuver grocery carts up to 35 lbs
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Duties
- Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to cashiers and courtesy clerks
- assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
- assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
- maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
- schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
- assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
- thrive in a fast-paced environment
