Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- have leadership training
- be dependable and reliable
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- have outgoing and friendly behavior
- have ability to operate front end equipment
- have good communication skills
- be able to take direction and participate in team environment
- able to perform repetitious activities
- ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- able to lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
- able to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- strong attention to detail
- proficiency with numbers and cash handling
- ability to read, write and count
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
- be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior and a positive attitude
- have the ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- possess good communication skills and be able to take direction, constructive criticism and participate in a team environment
- be able to perform repetitious activities and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- have strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers including cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write and count
Job Duties
- Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to cashiers and courtesy clerks
- assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
- assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
- maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
- schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
- assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
- thrive in a fast-paced environment ensuring efficient team operation
