Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
- be dependable and reliable and able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have outgoing and friendly behavior and positive attitude
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
- have good communication skills and be able to take direction and work in team environments
- able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
- must lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs for up to 50 hours
- must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for up to 50 hours
- have strong attention to detail and be proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age

- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write, and count
Job Duties
- Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to cashiers and courtesy clerks
- Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register
- Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots
- Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues
- Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements
- Assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
