Job Requirements

  • Must be TIPS certified
  • Extensive working knowledge of cocktail recipes, products and bartending tools
  • Minimum six months bartending experience with PPHG
  • Must have a wine tool for every shift
  • Knowledge of PPHG beverage menus
  • Ability to follow Patrick Properties standards, policies and procedures
  • Clear thinker with good judgment and solution-based thinking
  • Detail oriented with ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
  • Able to motivate and manage assigned staff
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to be on feet for extended periods
  • Willing to adapt in a fast-paced environment with multitasking skills

Job Duties

  • Act as a key holder for liquor room and beverage walk-in cooler
  • Ensure responsible bar service and monitor guest alcohol consumption
  • Prepare passed specialty cocktails and inform bartenders of new recipes
  • Assist with restocking bars and accurately log usage
  • Minimize alcohol waste and oversee wine service during dinners
  • Review beverage needs and communicate concerns to management
  • Supervise and guide bar staff, enforce policies, and handle incidents
  • Develop training system and retrain staff as needed
  • Review bar pull and create setup plan
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of beverage room
  • Complete inventory usage sheet
  • Oversee event breakdown and secure beverage areas
  • Submit reports and notify management of purchasing or staffing issues
