Job Requirements
- minimum of 2 years experience in specialty or non-specialty coffee
- hospitality experience
- accredited DOH or Safeserve certification
- capability to train and mentor teammates
- strong technical barista skills
- proficient communication abilities
- able to perform physically demanding tasks
- work in indoor, environmentally controlled conditions
- ability to engage in customer service and team activities
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years working as a barista or head barista in specialty coffee
- 4+ years experience in high volume fast-paced coffee environments
- relevant hospitality experience, management or leadership roles preferred
- DOH accredited or Safeserve Certified
- strong technical barista knowledge including extraction, texturing, and pouring
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in high stress fast paced environments
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs
Job Duties
- manage coffee and beverage quality and processes at store level
- train and educate barista team on coffee products and programs
- serve and interact with customers to provide personalized service
- maintain and clean coffee equipment and tools daily
- manage inventory and ordering of coffee and related products
- support General Manager in directing live labor and operational excellence
- participate in monthly Head Barista meetings and continuous training sessions
