Job Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience leading high-volume kitchens
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Energetic and guest-focused with a commitment to operational excellence

  • 2+ years of kitchen management experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • 2+ years of experience overseeing culinary operations for private events and large-scale functions
  • Skilled in collaborating with event sales teams to execute seamless, high-quality food service experiences
  • Experience managing banquets and/or events strongly preferred
  • Certified in food safety practices with HACCP or ServSafe credentials
  • Bilingual with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse teams and guest demographics
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and manage teams at all levels
  • Strong background in training and developing culinary staff for long-term growth and performance
  • In-depth understanding of food and labor cost controls to optimize profitability and efficiency

Job Duties

  • Lead the culinary department with integrity, accountability, and a commitment to excellence
  • Inspire and empower team members to consistently deliver exceptional, legendary service
  • Assist in managing daily, weekly and monthly operations including food product ordering, staffing, scheduling, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and quality product
  • Ensure banquets, buffets and event culinary offerings are consistent with AIKG standards, specifications, and brand consistency
  • Maintain strict compliance with all environment and health board regulations governing food and beverage preparation and service
  • Assist in the development and performance growth of culinary team members and supervisors
  • Direct staff training initiatives and manage employee relations to ensure a productive and positive work environment
  • Foster high morale within the culinary team through active leadership and ongoing support
  • Take an active part in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top culinary talent
  • Monitor and control food and labor costs to meet or exceed departmental budget targets
  • Ensure all site inspections and health code evaluations consistently meet or exceed required standards
  • Maintain impeccable organization and cleanliness across all kitchen, food service, and storage areas
  • Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate culinary planning, staffing, and execution for events and group functions
  • Help oversee the maintenance, inventory, and operational readiness of all kitchen equipment and culinary assets
  • Always support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games motto "Striving for Perfection: Achieving Excellence."
