Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- prior cleaning, maintenance or kitchen experience preferred
- must have knowledge of proper chemical usage and standard operational procedures
- ability to work as a team player
- must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends
- must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs
- position requires 10% standing, 90% walking
- requires very frequent bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, stooping and reaching overhead
- must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues
- must be able to work in an area containing secondary smoke
- work involves contact with cleaning solvent and chemicals
- must be able to read, understand, and tolerate the usage of cleaning chemicals
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal customer contact
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior cleaning, maintenance or kitchen experience preferred
- knowledge of proper chemical usage and standard operational procedures
- ability to work as a team player
- strong attention to detail and reliability
Job Duties
- Cleaning and filtering of deep fryers
- deep cleaning of all kitchen cooking equipment including grills, ovens and stove tops
- deep clean freezer floors
- deep cleaning of all kitchen and VIP bar floor mats
- cleaning of all floor drains
- sweep, mop and scrub all back of house floors
- polish all stainless steel walls, hoods and equipment
- must be able to perform various miscellaneous duties as directed
- provides fast and flawless service to internal customers
- acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same
- adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
- completes all other duties as assigned
