- Experience performing housekeeping duties
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, stand, walk for long periods
- Ability to push and pull carts and vacuums
- Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to read and write English
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as a team or independently
- Capability to use proper PPE when required

Job Duties
- Keep facility clean and sanitized
- Clean resident rooms
- Sanitize common areas
- Follow chore list assigned by supervisor
- Maintain housekeeping equipment
- Stock housekeeping carts daily
- Vacuum halls and elevators
- Clean and stock restrooms
- Dust fixtures
- Spot clean carpets
- Request supplies
- Deliver newspapers
- Clean pantry and refrigerators in dining rooms
- Wash windows and doors
- Sweep cobwebs outside doors
- Spot clean walls
- Weekly tasks including vacuuming carpets and cleaning bathrooms
- Monthly washing of shower and privacy curtains
- Wash wheelchairs
- Dust furniture and scrub handrails
- Detailed cleaning in empty rooms
- Perform other duties as assigned
