Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • able to pass criminal background check and obtain City of Citrus Heights work permit
  • no felony convictions
  • no misdemeanors involving theft, embezzlement, fraud or moral turpitude
  • compliance with California Health and Safety Code and Gambling Control Act regulations
  • ability to provide truthful and complete application information
  • willingness to participate in mandatory safety and alcohol consumption training
  • must be legally eligible to work in a casino environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety principles
  • ability to maintain professionalism and tact in guest interactions
  • team player attitude
  • basic knowledge of alcohol consumption laws and policies

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • escort guests to tables and provide menus
  • check on guests to ensure a pleasant dining experience
  • assist servers to provide fast and courteous service
  • maintain communication with kitchen staff, management, and serving staff
  • answer telephone calls and schedule reservations
  • maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant including bussing and resetting tables
  • deliver food and drink orders promptly
  • promote teamwork by assisting other team members
  • follow California Food Handlers safe guidelines
  • participate actively in safety training
  • report unsafe practices or hazardous conditions
  • monitor and enforce L.E.A.D. training and alcohol consumption policies
  • report suspicious or inappropriate conduct to management or security
