Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in hospitality or related field
  • associate’s, bachelor’s, or culinary degree
  • required certifications: Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
  • proficiency with Windows, spreadsheets, word processing, and basic technology
  • extensive management experience in restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, room service, and kitchen operations
  • strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure
  • skilled in budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and financial analysis
  • familiarity with hotel operations, functions of each department, and industry trends
  • maintains professional relationships and open communication with staff and other departments

Job Duties

  • Organize, direct, and supervise all food and beverage preparation and service from restaurant to banquets using standardized recipes
  • maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in all food service areas while minimizing waste and increasing efficiency
  • develop memorable menus and events, advising the Chef on pricing and banquet setups
  • lead kitchen staff, manage all food outlets, and coordinate operations to ensure smooth service
  • protect sensitive company information, cash, and secure areas while representing the company with professionalism and integrity
  • safely travel for company business as necessary
  • occasionally contribute personally in the kitchen with creative culinary input
