Job Requirements

  • Two years of direct customer experience in hospitality or airline industry or four years of customer contact and service resolution in general public industries
  • Proficiently speak business level Korean and read Korean characters (Hangul)
  • Vertical reach of 82 inches
  • Successfully complete annual FAA-approved re-certification
  • Ability to learn and maintain current knowledge and competency of emergency procedures
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills and ability to diffuse difficult customer situations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and meet physical demands including stooping, twisting, lifting 25 pounds from floor to above shoulder height
  • Comfortable swimming with life vest during emergency training
  • Ability to secure in jump seat with harness without extension
  • Successfully complete an FAA-approved unpaid eight week intensive training program
  • Able to serve alcohol
  • Relocate within the state of Hawaii or continental U.S.
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Successfully pass tuberculosis test
  • Possess valid passport and visas for travel to served countries
  • Legal right to travel to all served countries
  • Maintain valid travel documents throughout training and employment
  • Available for alternative schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Attend preflight briefings to review flight details including weather, route, altitude, emergency procedures, crew coordination, flight duration, and onboard services
  • Prepare aircraft cabin and ensure readiness for boarding and departure
  • Greet guests warmly, direct them to assigned seats, and assist with stowing carry-on luggage
  • Respond to flight-related questions and provide prompt, courteous service throughout the flight
  • Demonstrate the use of safety equipment such as seat belts, oxygen masks, and life jackets
  • Monitor guest compliance with safety regulations and address infractions professionally and effectively
  • Direct and assist guests during emergency procedures including evacuations
  • Administer first aid when necessary and complete written and verbal reports of any emergency or safety-related incidents
  • Provide consistent food and beverage service
  • Collect and reconcile payments for onboard purchases
  • Prepare guests and cabin for landing and assist with deplaning
  • Successfully complete annual FAA-approved re-certification and maintain current knowledge of emergency procedures
  • Collaborate with crew members to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Perform emergency duties such as assisting ill passengers, evacuating aircraft in smoke, handling emergency equipment, removing emergency windows, and using emergency slides
  • Maintain professionalism and meet physical demands including working varied schedules
