Job Requirements

  • Two years of direct customer experience in hospitality or airline industry or four years in customer contact and issue resolution
  • Vertical reach of 82 inches
  • Complete annual FAA-approved re-certification
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures per FAA and Hawaiian regulations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to stand for up to 17 hours and perform physical tasks
  • Lift at least 25 pounds from floor to above shoulder height
  • Comfortable in water during emergency training
  • Secure oneself in jump seat without extension
  • Complete FAA-approved 8-week training
  • Able to serve alcohol
  • Relocate within Hawaii or continental U.S.
  • Proficient in English
  • Pass tuberculosis test
  • Possess valid passport and necessary visas
  • Authorized to work in U.S.
  • Available for alternative schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 21

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • Ability to serve alcohol

  • Valid passport and ability to secure necessary visas
  • Physical ability to lift 25 pounds from floor to shoulder height
  • Able to complete FAA-approved intensive training
  • Able to relocate within Hawaii or continental U.S.
  • Ability to work alternative schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Attend preflight briefings to review flight details
  • Prepare aircraft cabin and ensure readiness for boarding
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating and carry-on luggage
  • Demonstrate safety equipment use and monitor compliance
  • Assist guests and crew during emergencies and perform first aid
  • Deliver food and beverage service and handle onboard sales
  • Prepare cabin for landing and assist with deplaning
  • Complete FAA-approved re-certification and maintain emergency procedure knowledge
  • Collaborate effectively with crew members to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Perform emergency duties including evacuation and use of safety equipment
