Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of experience in relevant customer service fields or four years of general customer service experience
  • Proficiency in business level Japanese and reading Romaji or Kanji
  • Must meet physical requirements including vertical reach and lifting ability
  • Able to complete FAA-approved 8-week unpaid training in Honolulu
  • Must possess valid passport and be able to secure visas
  • Must pass tuberculosis test
  • Ability to relocate within Hawaii or continental U.S.
  • Able to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain professional appearance with restrictions on visible tattoos and piercings
  • Successfully obtain and maintain SIDA badge
  • Able to serve alcohol
  • Comfortable with emergency water training and situations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of direct customer experience in hospitality or airline industry or four years customer service experience in other settings
  • Proficient in business level Japanese including reading Romaji or Kanji
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including vertical reach of 82 inches and lifting 25 pounds
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to complete FAA-approved training and maintain certification
  • English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain travel visas
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Attend preflight briefings and prepare aircraft cabin
  • Greet guests and assist with seating and carry-on luggage
  • Demonstrate safety procedures and monitor compliance
  • Respond to emergencies and administer first aid
  • Provide food and beverage service onboard
  • Prepare cabin for landing and assist with deplaning
  • Maintain professionalism and collaborate with crew
