Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of customer experience in hospitality or airline industry or four years in customer-facing roles
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Proficient in business level Japanese and able to read Romaji or Kanji
  • Successful completion of FAA-approved training program
  • Able to relocate within Hawaii or continental U.S.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain visas
  • Able to pass tuberculosis test
  • Able to secure unescorted access to aircraft and SIDA areas
  • Physical fitness to stand for long hours, swim, and perform emergency duties
  • Professional appearance standards to meet uniform policy
  • No visible tattoos or extreme piercings or hair while in uniform
  • Must possess strong communication skills in English
  • Able to serve alcohol
  • Must undergo required drug testing and maintain compliance with DOT regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of direct customer experience in hospitality or airline industry or four years in customer service roles
  • Proficiency in business level Japanese including reading Romaji or Kanji
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds from floor to above shoulder height
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to pass FAA-approved training and maintain current emergency procedure knowledge
  • Ability to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid passport and ability to secure visas for travel
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Attend preflight briefings and prepare the aircraft cabin for boarding
  • Greet guests warmly, assist with seating and carry-on luggage
  • Demonstrate safety procedures including the use of seat belts, oxygen masks, and life jackets
  • Monitor guest compliance with safety regulations and address issues professionally
  • Direct and assist guests during emergencies including evacuations and provide first aid
  • Provide consistent food and beverage service and process onboard sales
  • Prepare cabin and guests for landing and assist with deplaning
  • Complete annual FAA recertification and maintain compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with crew members and maintain professionalism throughout the flight
