Job Requirements
- Must be able to meet vertical reach of 82 inches
- Able to lift 25 pounds from floor to above shoulder height
- Comfortably swim with life vest during emergency training
- Able to secure oneself in jump seat without extension and move expeditiously
- Completion of FAA-approved eight-week unpaid training
- Ability to serve alcohol
- Relocate within Hawaii or continental U.S.
- Must pass tuberculosis test
- Must maintain professional appearance with no visible tattoos or extreme piercings during duty
- Must have legal travel rights for all served countries
- Able to work full-time with alternative schedules
- Must be authorized to work in U.S.
- Maintain SIDA badge compliance
- Must have valid travel documents throughout employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Two years of customer experience in hospitality or airline industry or four years in related customer service roles
- Ability to complete FAA-approved intensive training
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights and holidays
- Proficient in English
- Must hold a valid passport and visas as required
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred college education or degree
Job Duties
- Attend preflight briefings including weather, route, emergency procedures and onboard services
- Prepare aircraft cabin for boarding and departure
- Greet guests, assist with seating and carry-on luggage
- Demonstrate safety equipment usage and monitor compliance
- Manage emergency procedures and report incidents
- Deliver food and beverage service and handle onboard sales
- Prepare cabin for landing and assist with deplaning
- Complete FAA-approved recertification and maintain emergency procedure knowledge
- Collaborate with crew to ensure guest experience
- Perform emergency duties including passenger assistance and evacuations
