Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary certification or equivalent combination of culinary training and work experience preferred
- Experience in food preparation and equipment preferred
- Related experience preferred
- Ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to work extended hours and rotating schedules
- Ability to safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
- Ability to constantly stand and reach at waist
- Ability to frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic materials
- Ability to occasionally walk, reach overhead, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push or pull with arms, pinch, perform fine motor movements, shoulder circumduction
- Ability to occasionally be exposed to wet, cold, heat, ambient temperatures, and loud noise
- Ability to lift 55 lbs and manage loads over 80 lbs with team lift
Job Qualifications
- Culinary certification or equivalent culinary training or work experience preferred
- Experience in food preparation and equipment preferred
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Culinary knowledge
- Understanding of nutritional values and ingredients
- Reading and writing skills
- Ability to execute high-volume production
- Ability to accommodate rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Cut, slice, dice, chop food for recipe preparation in accordance with recipe specifications and SOPs
- Prepackage condiments such as sauces and dressings for prepared food items
- Complete tasks at assigned work station
- Assist in multiple cooking venues
- Assist in technical areas and with catering orders as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
