Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary certification or equivalent combination of culinary training and work experience preferred
  • Experience in food preparation and equipment preferred
  • Related experience preferred
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Ability to work extended hours and rotating schedules
  • Ability to safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
  • Ability to constantly stand and reach at waist
  • Ability to frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic materials
  • Ability to occasionally walk, reach overhead, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push or pull with arms, pinch, perform fine motor movements, shoulder circumduction
  • Ability to occasionally be exposed to wet, cold, heat, ambient temperatures, and loud noise
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs and manage loads over 80 lbs with team lift

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary certification or equivalent culinary training or work experience preferred
  • Experience in food preparation and equipment preferred
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culinary knowledge
  • Understanding of nutritional values and ingredients
  • Reading and writing skills
  • Ability to execute high-volume production
  • Ability to accommodate rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Cut, slice, dice, chop food for recipe preparation in accordance with recipe specifications and SOPs
  • Prepackage condiments such as sauces and dressings for prepared food items
  • Complete tasks at assigned work station
  • Assist in multiple cooking venues
  • Assist in technical areas and with catering orders as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
