Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Associates degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • Food Handler’s Card may be required

Job Duties

  • Perform saute, braising, wood fire grilling, fry, blanching, emulsifying, flat bread oven baking, poaching, and steaming cooking procedures
  • Perform baking, measuring, tempering and proofing in the pastry kitchen
  • Perform advanced knife skills such as roll cut, brunoise, macedoine in food preparation and production
  • Communicate timing with other stations to ensure food readiness and accurate banquet food delivery
  • Produce food according to recipe cards and plate presentations
  • Clean and organize walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment and kitchen areas
  • Provide support to the front line following management guidelines
  • Perform according to HACCP, OSHA and sanitation guidelines
  • Work at each station in the kitchen as needed
  • Perform other assigned duties
