Job Requirements

  • Associates degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • must have ability to read and write in English

Job Duties

  • Perform cooking procedures including saute, braising, wood fire grilling, frying, blanching, emulsifying, flat bread oven baking, poaching, and steaming
  • perform baking procedures such as baking, measuring, tempering, and proofing in pastry kitchen
  • perform advanced knife skills like roll cut, brunoise, macedoine in food preparation
  • communicate timing with other stations to ensure simultaneous food readiness
  • produce food according to recipe cards and plate presentations
  • clean and organize walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment and kitchen areas
  • provide support to front line staff following management guidelines
  • perform according to HACCP, OSHA and sanitation guidelines
  • work at each station in the kitchen as required
  • perform other duties as assigned
