Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively to customers and management
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents generally in English
- critical thinking with ability to multitask and balance strategy and execution
- three or more years experience in building maintenance
- willingness to use KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software and personal mobile device for work-related tasks with cell phone reimbursement provided
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- three or more years of experience in building maintenance
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and management
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical handling documents, generally in English
- critical thinking with ability to multitask and balance strategy and execution
- familiarity with mobile timekeeping systems preferred
Job Duties
- Performs work according to standard procedure and building's operational schedule
- cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows
- sweeps, removes debris, cleans spills, and mops floors throughout sales floor and seating area
- regularly checks trash receptacles and empties as needed
- collects, consolidates, and separates recycling into proper receptacles
- cleans windows and mirrored surfaces and polishes stainless steel surfaces
- dusts fixtures, shelves, and products
- maintains cleanliness of restrooms including cleaning and policing
- completes sweep logs as directed
- operates and sanitizes all equipment safely
- follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices
- dusts furniture and equipment
- washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills
- makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs
- performs touch up and finish painting
- empties wastebaskets
- replenishes restroom supplies
- replaces light bulbs
- sets up and tears down chairs, tables, and equipment in meeting and function rooms
- follows all applicable safety rules and procedures
- reports work accomplished orally or via written work order daily to supervisor
