Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or support
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for designated work hours
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to communicate timely and effectively in a noisy environment
- Must meet FMCSA qualifications and pass medical exams
- Must possess a valid driver license
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
- Non-covered safety sensitive position
- Must maintain constant alertness and safe working practices
Job Qualifications
- No minimum education required
- No prior experience necessary
- Able to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs and over with assistance
- Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods
- Capability to follow safety and communication protocols
- Valid driver license if driving DOT-sized vehicles
- Ability to complete required training and medical exams
- Effective communication skills in English
- Able to work in various weather conditions
Job Duties
- Provide movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods
- Occasionally drive DOT-sized vehicles as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Lift packages up to 50 lbs without assistance and maneuver packages above 50 lbs using equipment or assistance
- Walk, stand, bend, squat and work in various weather conditions during assigned work hours
- Communicate effectively in noisy environments and follow safety protocols according to FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Complete all required basic and re-currency training and medical exams as mandated
