Job Requirements
- At least five years of progressive hotel experience
- supervisory background required
- ability to stay calm and objective under pressure
- must hold or obtain certifications such as food handlers, alcohol awareness, CPR, and first aid
- willingness to work overtime as this is an overtime eligible manager position
- effective communication skills
- strong leadership and team management abilities
Job Qualifications
- At least five years of progressive hotel experience in rooms or food and beverage or a four-year degree with 2-3 years or a two-year degree with 3-4 years of related experience
- prior supervisory experience
- strong communication and leadership skills
- proficiency with Windows Operating Systems
- certification or willingness to obtain food handlers, alcohol awareness, CPR, and first aid
- proven problem-solving abilities
- customer service excellence
- ability to work well under pressure
Job Duties
- Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and collaborating with the General Manager
- proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth daily function
- recruit, hire, and train guest services staff while providing ongoing development and coaching to all team members
- maintain clear and effective communication channels with colleagues and guests
- manage financial information and data to support operational decisions
- utilize Windows Operating Systems for management and reporting tasks
- uphold professional appearance and grooming standards across the team
- deliver outstanding guest service with a friendly and approachable attitude
