Job Requirements

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience
  • supervisory background required
  • ability to stay calm and objective under pressure
  • must hold or obtain certifications such as food handlers, alcohol awareness, CPR, and first aid
  • willingness to work overtime as this is an overtime eligible manager position
  • effective communication skills
  • strong leadership and team management abilities

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience in rooms or food and beverage or a four-year degree with 2-3 years or a two-year degree with 3-4 years of related experience
  • prior supervisory experience
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • proficiency with Windows Operating Systems
  • certification or willingness to obtain food handlers, alcohol awareness, CPR, and first aid
  • proven problem-solving abilities
  • customer service excellence
  • ability to work well under pressure

Job Duties

  • Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and collaborating with the General Manager
  • proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth daily function
  • recruit, hire, and train guest services staff while providing ongoing development and coaching to all team members
  • maintain clear and effective communication channels with colleagues and guests
  • manage financial information and data to support operational decisions
  • utilize Windows Operating Systems for management and reporting tasks
  • uphold professional appearance and grooming standards across the team
  • deliver outstanding guest service with a friendly and approachable attitude
