Job Requirements
- at least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience or equivalent education and experience
- valid driver’s license in applicable state
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
- strong analytical and strategic skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- ability to multitask and work independently
- strong organizational and presentation skills
- demonstrated interpersonal skills with diverse backgrounds
- knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality industry principles
- ability to perform well under pressure
Job Qualifications
- at least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
- four-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience or two-year college degree with 2 years of related experience
- valid driver’s license in applicable state
- highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in professional selling techniques including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
- strong analytical skills and strategic vision
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
- strong organizational and presentation skills
- demonstrated ability to manage and interact with diverse groups
- advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
- ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure
Job Duties
- develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue
- recruit, train, mentor, and inspire the sales team
- prepare budgets, forecast sales targets, and monitor performance
- conduct sales calls, client meetings, and hotel tours to build strong customer relationships
- collaborate with the General Manager to support hotel operations and promote a positive culture
- create marketing campaigns that enhance the hotel’s brand and attract new business
- manage multiple projects and tasks effectively under pressure
