Job Requirements

  • at least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience or equivalent education and experience
  • valid driver’s license in applicable state
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • strong analytical and strategic skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • ability to multitask and work independently
  • strong organizational and presentation skills
  • demonstrated interpersonal skills with diverse backgrounds
  • knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality industry principles
  • ability to perform well under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • at least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • four-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience or two-year college degree with 2 years of related experience
  • valid driver’s license in applicable state
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in professional selling techniques including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • strong organizational and presentation skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage and interact with diverse groups
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue
  • recruit, train, mentor, and inspire the sales team
  • prepare budgets, forecast sales targets, and monitor performance
  • conduct sales calls, client meetings, and hotel tours to build strong customer relationships
  • collaborate with the General Manager to support hotel operations and promote a positive culture
  • create marketing campaigns that enhance the hotel’s brand and attract new business
  • manage multiple projects and tasks effectively under pressure
