Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No experience required as on the job training is provided
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Must comply with all safety, security, and quality standards
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemical cleaners safely
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties
Job Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- One year of prior similar work experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
- Physically able to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways
- Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas
- Regularly check trash receptacles and empty as needed
- Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- Notify lead cleaner or manager regarding repairs or system issues
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
- Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles
