Job Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Must live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital
- Ability to adhere to hospital policies and safety guidelines
- Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, environmental services or housekeeping work preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently
- Ability to work cooperatively with patients, staff and visitors
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures
Job Duties
- Maintain assigned hospital areas in a sanitary, orderly and attractive manner
- Perform simple, repetitive housekeeping tasks
- Deliver warm smiles and friendly conversations to patients, visitors, and staff
- Attend monthly staff meetings and various in-service sessions
- Participate in annual safety meetings and performance appraisal interviews
- Engage with patients and employees to ensure a welcoming environment
- Follow hospital policies and procedures related to cleanliness and safety
