Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five years experience in high quality high volume multi unit kitchen operations preferred
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management staff and guests
  • Ability to maintain clean organized work environment
  • Ability to follow recipes and kitchen processes accurately
  • Ability to work full time

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of statutory requirements regarding health and safety sanitation proper chemical usage fire procedures and HACCP
  • Knowledge of all kitchen equipment operations
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management staff and guests
  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience

  • Two years supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean neat and organized work environment
  • Follow recipes accurately and adjust quantities as needed
  • Display good knife skills and season food properly
  • Follow all kitchen processes and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with all internal customers
  • Adhere strictly to employee handbook rules and regulations
  • Properly rotate product in walk in cooler
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment properly
  • Comply with state sanitation health regulations and hotel HACCP standards
  • Fill out Sous Chef scheduling
  • Perform other duties as required
