Job Requirements
- Active cosmetology license
- Entry level customer service or retail sales experience
- Availability for peak business hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to perform repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting motions
- Willingness to learn and complete training program
- Fluent in English

- Entry level experience in customer service or retail sales
- Experience in salon or beauty industry preferred

Job Duties
- Demonstrate and develop teamwork skills to provide a guest experience aligned with company values
- Perform behind-the-chair services including finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, hot tool styling, treatments, toners, and product application per guest requests
- Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail sales, services, and memberships
- Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory management, and asset security
- Adhere to Madison Reed’s systems, policies, processes, and procedures
- Drive Hair Color Bar revenue by increasing average service tickets through additional services and sales of memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care products
- Take a proactive approach to learning and complete the Assistant Colorist to Colorist Training program focusing on color theory and application skills
