Job Qualifications
- Active cosmetology license in the state of employment
- Entry level experience in customer service or retail sales
- Salon or beauty industry experience preferred
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable operating point of sale systems
- Fluency in English
Job Duties
- Demonstrate and develop teamwork skills to provide a guest experience aligned with company values
- Perform behind-the-chair services including assisting in finishing, shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, hot tool styling, treatments, toners, and add-on product applications
- Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail sales, services, and memberships
- Ensure Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security
- Adhere to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, processes, and procedures
- Drive revenue by increasing average service ticket through additional services, memberships, and product sales
- Proactively engage in Assistant Colorist to Colorist Training focusing on mastering color theory and behind-the-chair skills
