Job Requirements

  • Maintain weight not to exceed 250 pounds
  • Be less than 70 years old
  • Hold current FAA first or second-class medical certificate
  • Be able to maintain positive interpersonal relationships
  • Meet all applicable FAA regulations
  • Have flown in category for commercial operator or military within last 24 months
  • Complete all required documentation accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating in category and class of aircraft
  • ATP rating in category preferred
  • Minimum 2000 total flight hours
  • At least 1500 hours in category
  • Minimum 1000 hours PIC in category
  • At least 500 hours rotor wing turbine time
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time with 50 hours at night
  • 100 hours unaided night flight as PIC or 50 hours unaided night with 100 hours NVG time
  • 50 hours actual or hood instrument time in flight and in category
  • Familiarity with medical aircraft systems
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus

Job Duties

  • Operate aircraft safely and legally
  • Complete pre-flight inspections and verify airworthiness
  • Conduct thorough walk-around of aircraft before and after flights
  • Maintain final authority over aircraft operation and safety
  • Ensure familiarity with all aircraft and medical systems including backups
  • Perform detailed flight planning under time constraints
  • Participate in meetings, activities, projects, committees, and community outreach
